CoNECTOME 2026
I presented a poster at CoNECTOME 2026, the UW Computational Neuroscience Center symposium, here in Seattle.
Local symposia are underrated. The room is smaller than NeurIPS by three orders of magnitude, which means the people who stop at your poster are largely people who work on adjacent problems and intend to keep talking to you afterward. Several conversations turned into follow-ups I would not have gotten at a large conference, where the marginal poster visitor is passing through.
It was also the first time I presented as someone based in Seattle rather than visiting it, which is a small thing that felt larger than expected.
